Slugs can also provide less windage at short and medium ranges compared to some pellets because the shape helps with stability.

Use them in rifles compatible with .177 (4.5 mm) slugs — especially PCP rifles and other rifles designed for slug use. Expect to test a few shots to find the best combination of pressure, barrel, and sight setting; a short test at the range will save you time and frustration later in the hunting season. Clean and store ammunition dry and cool to preserve finish and performance.
